High-rise Steel Structure Foundation Tips

Building a building is inseparable from steel, this is the view that everyone knows. Would you believe me if I told you that the entire skeleton of a high-rise building is made of steel? Indeed, with the development of the steel structure industry, steel structure buildings have been more and more widely used, high-rise buildings are one of the good examples, but the requirements of steel structure buildings on the foundation are different from traditional buildings, the following Sunrise to take you to understand, some knowledge of high-rise steel structure building foundations:

1. The foundation form of high-rise building steel structure should be comprehensively determined according to the superstructure, engineering geological conditions, construction conditions and other factors, and raft foundation, box foundation, pile foundation or composite foundation should be selected. When the bedrock is shallow and the buried depth of the foundation does not meet the requirements, rock bolt foundation should be used.

2, steel structure high-rise buildings should have a basement. For the high-rise structure of the earthquake-resistant building, the depth of the foundation should be the same, and local basement should not be used.

3. The depth of foundation burial of steel structure of high-rise building (from the bottom surface of outdoor floor or long lighting well to the bottom of the bearing table or the bottom of the foundation) should not be less than 11/15 when natural foundation is used, and should not be less than 11/18 when pile foundation is used. Here, H is the height from the outdoor floor to the roof cornice. When warranted, the embedding depth can be reduced.

4. When the settlement joint is set between the main building and the podium, loose materials such as coarse sand should be used to fill the settlement joint below the ground to ensure reliable lateral constraints around the foundation of the main building. When there is no settlement joint, it is appropriate to reserve the after-pouring belt during construction.

5, between the high-rise steel structure and the reinforced concrete foundation or the reinforced concrete structure of the basement, it is appropriate to set up a steel reinforced concrete structure layer.

6. In the frame-support system, the vertically continuously arranged support trusses should be extended to the foundation in the form of shear walls.
